“A Puro Tango Cultural Corporation” is an artistic entity established since 2001. The Company´s mission is to extend and professionalize tango both nationally and internationally. The Company´s perseverance and continuous work have positioned it as the best tango dance corporation worldwide. Its international presence makes them ambassadors of tango culture around the world, earning them several awards and recognitions that validate the quality and professionalism of their work.

Championships

Champions of the Internacional Manizales Tango Festival in the category of best choreography – Manizales - Colombia 2017.
Third place at the World Championship of Tango, in Professional Stage Tango category represented by one of the leading couples conformed by Andrés Uran and Estefania Arango, held in Buenos Aires - Argentina in the year 2016.
World Tango Champions at the World Tango Championship in the category of best choreography – Medellin – Colombia 2013 and 2014.
Champions at the preliminaries to represent Colombia in the World Championship of Tango at Buenos Aires-Argentina in the category of best choreography in 2014 and stage tango couple in the years to 2014, 2015, and 2016.
Winners at the International Tango Festival in the categories of orchestra, vocalist and choreography in 2008 and 2009.

Recognized by the Council of Medellín for its 15 years of excellent artistic work. 2016.
The company was awarded by “Casa de la Cultura Ecuatoriana Benjamín Carrión” in Quito – Ecuador for its support to culture, dance and tango diffusion. 2013.
The company obtained an award for its invaluable support to tango granted by the “Centro Cultural Acción Tanguera de Buenos Aires”. Argentina 2010.

Our company is currently conformed by a tango quintet, 2 singers and 14 dancers, all professionals and internationally recognized artists with magnificent experience.

“A Puro Tango” has collaborated with the world’s most recognized tango orchestras such as; ESCALAMDRUM under the direction of Daniel Piazzolla, grandson of the master Astor Piazzolla, Argentine singer ARIEL ARDIT and orchestra Typica, TAMANGO, SANS SOUCI, ULTRATANGO, COLOR TANGO, OTROS AIRES, CAMORRA, THE LEOPOLDO FEDERICO ORCHESTRA, LOS REYES DEL TANGO, THE SEXTET MILONGUERO, the Russian orchestras SOLO TANGO, and BANDONEGRO, among others.

Currently the Company has a second headquarters in Turkey, where they have been presenting their show “A PURO TANGO, Pasión y Sentimiento…” for 3 years.
